When you refer your friends to sign up with Spark Energy, you’ll both get rewarded. 

Once your referral signs up, you’ll each receive a $50 credit on your energy bill or a $50 prepaid Visa card*, depending on the service address state¹. There’s no limit to how many friends you can refer, so the more people you send our way, the more you’ll both benefit.

• The referrer and referee will receive a $50 reward if: 
  • They are currently active with no pending drops and no past due balance. 
  • The referee has been active for 90 days. 
  • Both the referrer and the referee must be enrolled with the same brand. 

Referring friends is simple.

1. Log into your account and select the refer-a-friend option from your dashboard. Don’t have an account? Creating one is quick & easy!

2. Enter the names and email addresses of the people you’d like to refer to.

3. Enjoy your $50 bill credit or $50 prepaid visa card*, and a great rate!

Terms & Conditions for Refer a Friend: To be eligible, both referring and referred customers must receive service in a deregulated territory served by Spark Energy, LLC. (“Spark”). Referred customers must enroll on a plan utilizing the unique referral code from the referring customer. By enrolling in the Refer A Friend program, you authorize Spark to notify the referring customer of your enrollment. Referred Customer may elect to not receive further e-mails from Spark. Newly enrolling referred customers are limited to one $50 bill credit or $50 prepaid visa card^* per service address enrolled.  May not be transferred, assigned or redeemed for cash. Limit one referring customer per new enrollment (determined by email link followed). Offer not available to renewing customers (new enrollments only).  To receive a $50 bill credit or $50 prepaid Visa card*, the referred customer must maintain an active Spark account in good standing (no past-due balance owed) for 90 days after the beginning of service. Bill credits or prepaid cards* will not be issued until 120 days after the beginning of service.

This card can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted within the U.S. only. Your Visa Prepaid Card is valid for 6 months after issuance.
